This is our 4th visit to HI. Kauai is our favorite island. Favorite sights 1) Waimea Canyon on a clear day. 2) Sunset across the street at Beach House restaurant 3) Farmers Market Koloa on Monday at noon but go early to get a parking place (11:30 ish). Great apple/bananas, lemons, lettuce everything at market is grown on Kauai. 4) Coffee plantation interesting and liked Kauai coffee over Kona. 5) Kauai Kookie Co in Eleele (new cofeee plants) 6) Helicopter tour great beautiful 7) Koloa Town groceries - drug store, post office - Koloa Fish Market for take out lunch or fresh fish. V. Good. 8) Had an ER visit to Hospital - Lihue - asthma got out of control due to fog from big island coming this way. V. good care.
Best prices on gifts - WalMart and Hawood Trading Post. Place to skip - Guava Kai Plantation - watered down guava - V high prices on everything else. Enjoyed food at Brenneckes - Da I ma Hat Cafe in old Henneppe eb's Eats in Lihue.

Thanks for being so kind and generous! I love it here - it's the perfect condo! To awaken each morning to a beautiful sunrise and to fall asleep at night to the sounds of the tropics will be hard to duplicate with a "sound machine" but I'll buy one first thing upon my return to Pittsburgh!

Thank you ver much for sharing your condo with us. It is very clean and very nicely equipped. We didn't quite understand the fact that it was a studio when we booked it. Next time we might opt for the single bedroom.
The 7 days on Maui and the 5 here have been just what me and my new wife needed. Great fun, food, and sights everywhere, but for now it's back to Las Vegas where the temp is 120 degrees.

We sold our condo last year and felt very comfortable in your studio. I'm amazed at all the "mild" complaints written in this journal. A/C is not needed on this perfect island! Your condo has all the basics that vacationers need plus it was very clean.

This is a clean, comfortable and quiet place that met our needs well. We traveled all around the island, and were happy to return here to lay down our heads at night. Taking a helicopter tour, seeing the waimea Canyon, and hiking the Kalalau Trail on the North Shore were highlights! A beautiful island!

The condo was very comfortable and a great place to sack out every night. Thank you for sharing it with us. We celebrated our 7th anniversary and are expecting our first child in 3 months. Our get-away to Kauai was just what we needed!

Thank you so much for sharing your cozy condo with us! We felt so at home here and everyone is so friendly, it made us feel like we lived here! We will definitely tell all our friends about Prince Kuhio and recommend they stay here. We especially loved this Poipu area the very best over the rest of the island. We saw almost every part of the island twice and still think the Lawai area is the most beautiful. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Beach House and had a great view of the ocean and also enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. We also enjoyed Captain Jack's sunset cruise to the Napali cliffs too. The food we were served onboard was very tasty! We also enjoyed hiking in the waimea Canyon - very breathtaking views.
All in all, Kauai is the most beautiful place we've ever stayed and was the best vacation ever! We truly enjoyed celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary here.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay here while we visited Kauai, it was perfect for us. We used the kitchen for breakfast and also grilled one night. The nights were cool so we only had the windows open one night. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and watching the sunrise and ocean with a cup of coffee. Everything was clean and well stocked and you have nice neighbors!
We enjoyed snorkeling at Poipu Beach, Kee Beach and over by the Beach House. We went to Waimea Canyon and also stopped Kauai Coffee Plantation - very good and tasty. Enjoy a helicopter ride on a beautiful sunny day. Explored the North Shore. Our only regret is that our time here was too short. We are celebrating our 26th anniversary and hope to return again.

Thank you so much for sharing your cozy condo with us. We love this area - very quiet and relaxed - so enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and beach across the road and great walking. Quite a bit of rain but that didn't stop us from having a great time on this beautiful island.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay here in Kauai. This was our first visit to any of the Hawaiian islands and we love it. This was a wonderful way to spend our 20th anniversary. The only negative thing that happened during our stay here was being attacked by an employee at Gaylords who happened to be a concierge. She pressured us tremendously about time-sharing and to meet with her during our stay. This happened our first morning here during breakfast. We thought oh, no!! But it never happened again - and we never ate Gaylord's breakfast buffet again. Which was too bad because the food was great! We love the beaches, landscape, food - everything about Kauai. We hope to be able to return. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your home. Also, thanks for the goodies that were waiting for us when we arrived.
