Prince Kuhio #211 Guest Book - Year 2008
12-19-08
We've enjoyed our stay in the condo and enjoyed this area. The weather
wasn't great but we managed to do a lot of things and not get rained on
too bad. Not much beach time because of the weather but a wonderful
change from the snow and cold of Alaska.
We found you provided everything we needed. Thanks for a great place
to relax.

What a beautiful place to spend our 9th anniversary! Your condo is centrally
located to everything on the island. It has everything a person could need to
enjoy the beaches and a comfy bed to rest for the next days excursion. Love the
pillows!!
Favorite eats - Paradise for dinner, Scottys Kapaa, Puka Dogs - yum!, Wranglers -
Waimea, Shrimp Station. We covered the whole island in 6 days. Can't wait to return.

Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise! Once again, we have enjoyed
your condo so much. It felt like home the second we turned the key and stepped in the door.
The kitchen is beautifully equipped - sharp knives! We ejoyed hitting the Farmers Mkts
and having wonderful meals of fresh grilled fish and amazing fruits and veggies.
We saw monk seals, geckos, and sea turtles. Monty had a turtle encounter right across
the street. It was the highlight of the trip for him!
You were so gracious to grant us a late check out. Once again, you went above and
beyond!

Dear Jack & Dorinda,
We loved our stay at your beautiful condo! We especially loved the ocean breeze
blowing in as we slept at night ... what a treat! We highly recommend the Beach
House at sunset and for dinner. We snorkeled also right next to the Beach House.
Saw turtles and lots of tropical fish. We golfed Poipu Bay - amazing!
We are already planning a trip back! You chose the best location on Kauai for your
condo! We also recommend Lapperts in Koloa for ice cream. We definitely could spend
another week here! Thank you for sharing your Kauai home.

We stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon. We had booked the room the day before
we came and could not be happier! We love Kauai and will be back.

We stayed here at your delightfully appointed condo for half of our Kauai honeymoon.
We loved sleeping with the windows open, watching the ski stars and beautiful
sunrises. The quiet and peacefulness of the Prince Kuhio has been a welcome respite
for us. Thank you for keeping all the wonderful beach apparatus!!!
The chairs and cooler were well loved. Snorkeling is great out front and over at
Koloa Landing. Our favorite beaches were Lumahai and Tunnels, Larsen on the East.
There is no shortage of beautiful beaches here on Kauai :-)
Scotty's BBQ up in Kapaa is great and we loved Hamura Saimia in Lihue for great
cheap dinner. Also, Matt and I want to thank you for stocking the great selection
of Hawaii themed music! In the evenings we were always cozy.
Thank you for a great time!

The condo is great. Loved the bed, trade winds, watching the gardener climb up a palm
tree and cut off branches. The cooler and chairs were well appreciated on travels.
We own a time share at Kauai Beach Villas but "nothing was available" since we booked
only 4 months in advance.
We met childhood friends here for their 40th anniversary. had lots of fun at the zip-lines
in Princeville. Would recommend the snorkel/lunch trip with Catamaran Kahanie, a native
Hawaiian who takes you to a special place to snorkel. He's a salty old captain but takes
only 18-20 people at a time.
Had a great dinner at Beach House. Really enjoyed your CD of Hawaiian music. Anyone want
to buy a time-share cheap?

Thanks so much for sharing your home. After leaving some snowy weather in Montana (I
know, in June) we thought the sunshine and pool were wonderful. Having been here before,
we just wanted to relax this time. We ate in alot but breakfast at Joe's on the Green
is nice. Saw a sea turtle yesterday across the street when we walked to the beach. Tried
the Brick Oven pizza.
Didn't see the gecko's until third night. I've named them and see every afternoon.
Appreciate all the "niceties" and hope to come again.

Aloha Jack & Dorinda,
Well once again a very successful and enjoyable journey to Kauai and your fantastic
island home. Mahalo for once again welcoming me back. As usual everything was
perfect. Its amazing how fast 13 days seems to disappear and unfortunately time to
head home.
Can't help but notice all the construction going on. I hope the beauty and simplicity
of this area is not hurt.
Mahalo again, you and Dorinda are the best! Until next year!

This was our first visit to Kauai and we know that we will return. The condo was
perfectly appointed and situated for our needs. Every adventure was successful including
slogging through the mud to Secret Falls. We hiked the two miles on the Kalalau Trail,
a must, rented Kayaks for the Wailea River and took the boat ride through NaPali Explorer
along the cliffs. All wonderful. And don't miss the beach that you have to find! Polihale.

g'day from "Down Under"!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here in dazzling Kauai! We've loved being able to
snorkel right off the beach across the street. We swam with the turtles one day and another
day there was a monk seal on the beach!
If you do the Na Pali Coast, make sure the winds aren't from the south! It makes for a
very choppy ride - fun but no going in the water!
Thank you Jack & Dorinda, for a wonderful stay in a well-supplied home.

We loved our little home away from home. The bed is more comfortable than our own! The breeze
each night with wavs i the distance is wonderful. Things we enjoyed:
Waimea Canyon, Napali Coast Boat tour (saw lots of Dolphins!), snorkeled Tunnels beach twice,
boogie boarded at Kekaha - calmer in morning, Sunday brunch at the Sheraton - great view
and food and the luau at the Sheraton, great fun and entertainment. Great sunset from the
Sheraton beach walk. Already planning to come back!

We have had a lovely 6 days staying here after a week on Oahu. The beach House Restaurant was
superb, we also enjoyed Hideaways Beach quite a trek up and down but wel worth the effort.
The helicopter trip with Air Kauai was excellent too.

After 2 months of work and travel in Australia and New Zeland, our week here was full
of the relaxation we wanted as a transition to our Seattle home. This is our second
stay in one of your units, Jack & Dorinda, and by far our favorite. It was so comfortable
and lovely we cooked here most nights with candlelight lanai dinners to your hawaiian
music CD. Love the Monday Market!
Snorkeling across the street and at Tunnels and spending hours walking and exploring
Mahalepu beach (where we encountered the whale documentus) and reading by the pool
made us happy puppies. And of course the Botanical Garden.
We'll be back (unless we learn that all the development underway dramatically changes
this little paradise or prices us out of the option to stay in 211).

Mahalo for everything Jack & Dorinda. This was the perfect place for a week
that went too fast. Our recommendations: Mahalepu, Alakai Swamp hike, Princeville, Yum Cha,
Hanalei Gourmet, Pizzetta, snorkeling across from Lawai Beach Resort - much better
than Poipu Beach (we saw a monk seal and turtle there).

Mahalo for a wonderful 2 weeks. Perfect weather, no rain. The condo was fabulous.
We had absolutely everything we needed or wanted! Great bed! just like home! and
a big mahalo for the toaster! After burning twice with the old one, we gave up and
lo and behold a new one arrived. We had such a great time. Saw and did everything
we wanted. Our favorite was Anini Beach. Second, Lydgate Beach and the rest were very
nice too! For seniors, the first two mentioned and of course Poipu Beach. Incredible
sunrises and sunsets - Waimea Canyn is incredible as well.
Thanks so much
